After the recent opening of the first “Play” restaurant in Dubai, in January 2016, the creators have opened their doors once again in the form of a summer pop-up at the Hotel Barrière Le Majestic de Cannes in France.
“When we created the concept of Play, daring and playful, we knew that one day we would be ready to go global, it was only a question of time.” says Rashid Galadari, the president of Play Dining Group. “And the south of France is the perfect location to start such a venture.”
Though a temporary project installation, Play has not held back with the kitchen outfit. With personnel of the highest standards, a prime kitchen expected of a 5-star hotel, delectable fusion dishes from east to west; modern Japanese cuisine with organic Mediterranean produce carefully selected by chef and collaborator of Mibrasa, Reif Othman.
Changing sceneries from Dubai to the Mediterranean’s luminous views, Othman has also recast his choice of grilling toy to focus around the Mibrasa Robatayaki RM 115. Playing with ingredients to make generous and creative sharing plates accompanied by cocktails and live music, a proposal such as this makes no summer long enough.
